Children’s Original Theatrical Showcase in Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Nation-Building
The performance will be held at Chui Huay Lim Club on Friday, September 12, 2025.
This is a performance by a group of children (aged 6 to 14) from the Golden Microphone Language Centre, who are passionate about learning Chinese. They will present four unique performances, each with its own unique charm. Through this intercultural and multidisciplinary performance, the children will cultivate positive values and experience Singapore's diverse cultural heritage.

- Short dance drama "Sister Islands"
- Poetry Recitation: Chinatown
- Yang Opera "Lin Mousheng in Yibao"
- Musical "The Story of Fort Canning Hill"
- Yang Opera "Forest Adventure"

The 25th Pohang International Theatre Festival
The performance will be held at the Pohang Arts Center in South Korea from August 26 to 30, 2025.
The 25th Pohang International Theatre Festival, a five-day artistic feast, brought together five leading theatre companies from South Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore. Golden Microphone Children's Theatre, representing Singapore, presented the Yang opera "Jungle Adventure" on August 27th and a children's opera based on the myth of the Ramayana on August 28th. These performances seamlessly blended laughter and adventure, making them perfect for Singapore's multicultural families.
A Dream of Red Mansions: A Marriage of Gold and Jade
The show will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Hor Kew Business Building.
Lion City Children's Four Great Classics Performance
The show will be held on November 17, 2024 (Sunday) at the Bedok CC Multi-Purpose Hall.
This is a play performed by a group of children (aged 8 to 13) from the Golden Microphone Language Center who love to learn Chinese. They will lead the audience through the tunnel of time and space, explore legendary stories, and feel the charm of classical literature.

Happy 59th birthday, Singapore
The show will be held on Thursday, 8 August 2024, at the open-air stage at Bedok South Road.
The children from the Golden Microphone Language Centre presented a wonderful performance to celebrate Singapore’s 59th birthday. The performance was a complete success and was praised by Dr. Chua Shu Peng, a senior expert in the Singaporean theatre industry.
